Designers Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan tackle a Birmingham house that must have the worst lounge in Britain. The wallpaper, furnishings and carpets, all resplendent in garish floral patterns, cry out for the duo's attention. They decide to give the lounge a scheme of painted stripes while opting for brown walls in the kitchen, two suggestions that meet with intense disapproval from the owner. Removing the floral wallpaper seems the best solution to the bad décor -- until the wall comes off too. Then, when the wrong kitchen arrives, things get really ugly.
